The Missouri Valley African Violet Council returns to Lincoln to the beautiful Eastmont Performing Arts Center . . .

to hold its annual Fall Convention, Show, and Sale, Friday, October 10th through Saturday, October 11th, 2025. Once again, we plan to fill the show room with fine examples of African violets and other gesneriads, grown to near perfection by some of the region's best growers.

Set-up for the show will begin around 3 p.m. on Thursday, October 9th. Entries will begin at 8 a.m. on Friday, October 10th. Judging of the show will be from 1:30 until completion Friday afternoon.

The Showroom opens to the public and to Eastmont residents at 9 a.m. Saturday morning and will be open until 4 p.m. on October 11th. African violets and other plants will be available for sale beginning at 9 a.m. until they are gone.

Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m., we will have a special presentation, by Mary Corondan, Immediate Past President of the African Violet Society of America. Mary will present an educational program about "Those Marvelous Minis" -- miniature and semi-miniature African violets. The program is free and open to the public.
