MVAVC holds a spring meeting and a fall convention hosted by affiliate clubs in the various areas of the seven state region. All members of MVAVC and members of the hosting club may participate in the meetings. The spring meeting hosts a plant sale that is open only to the members of MVAVC and the hosting club. The fall convcntion is a judged show open to all members of MVAVC and the hosting club. The sales area where plants and plant-related products are sold is open to the members and the general public. Informative presentations are made by experts in African violet culture, these presentations are also open to the general public.
